Security & Prohibited Items

Paramount Theatre places the safety of patrons, artists, and employees above all else.

Guests will be treated in a professional and courteous manner by all theatre personnel.  Paramount Theatre is dedicated to the principles of equality for all guests. Guests will be treated fairly without regard to age, race, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity, color, religion, national origin, disability, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable law.  Guests wearing head coverings, loose fitting or bulky garments may undergo additional security screening but will not be asked to remove any religious head coverings unless absolutely necessary to undergo additional screenings.  These additional screenings may, upon request, take place in a private location out of public view and with a security officer of the same gender as the guest.  Guests needing additional assistance due to a disability will also be afforded these same options. Guests may report any violation to: 303.615.6838 or e-mail: feedback@paramountdenver.com

Security

All persons entering Paramount Theatre are subject to security screening using handheld metal detectors, designed to prevent prohibited items from entering the venue and to ensure the safety of all venue guests and staff. Please allow extra time for the security screening process, in order to prevent delayed entry into the venue. If You See Something, Say Something®

“If You See Something, Say Something®"  is a national campaign that raises public awareness of the indictors of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, as well as the importance of reporting suspicious activity to state and local law enforcement. Suspicious activity is any observed behavior that could indicate terrorism or terrorism-related crime. This includes, but is not limited to, unusual items or situations (i.e. a vehicle is parked in an odd location, a package/bag is unattended, etc.); eliciting information (i.e. inquiries at a level beyond curiosity about a building’s purpose, event dates and time, operations/security procedures and/or personnel, etc.); observation/surveillance (i.e. someone pays unusual attention to facilities or buildings beyond a casual or professional interest, etc.). If you see suspicious activity, report it to the nearest local law enforcement or a person of authority (i.e. Event Manager). Describe specifically what you observed, including who or what you saw; when you saw it; where it occurred; and why it's suspicious.
